Policy AB2 Managing the environmental impact of development

Purpose

This policy seeks to ensure that development proposals have considered how they can enhance the natural environment – both flora and fauna – including the features of it that are particularly distinctive to Aldington & Bonnington. This is particularly important in the context of the parish being located partially within the Kent Downs AONB. The policy also seeks to ensure that development proposals contribute to the provision of adequate open space and wildlife-friendly features.
