Exciting news! The long awaited refurbishment of the children’s Play Area on Reynold’s Field will start on Monday. During the works, the whole area within the fence will be closed. We ask that this is respected and that you do not attempt to use play items, even if they appear to be unaffected by the works.
The existing swing log, chain bridge and balance beam will be removed as part of the refurbishment, with replacements installed alongside a brand new climbing frame. The slide will be refurbished to make it safer and hopefully more fun.
We hope that local families will enjoy the equipment. It should be available to try out by Wednesday, 19th May. Hopefully the May weather will improve to bring out the sunshine and lots of happy children.
